Paul Lukez FAIA LEED AP Principal

Over the past 20 years, Paul Lukez has been actively engaged in architectural practice, research and education. His 10-person firm is continuously busy designing all kinds of architectural and urban design projects—educational facilities, healthcare facilities, planned communities, research laboratories, residences, restaurants, retail spaces, etc.—in the US and Asia at all scales: small, medium and large.
Mr. Lukez is driven to collaborate with clients and communities that care deeply about their design projects, to help them fulfill their goals and aspirations. His multi-faceted professional track gave rise to the release of a book, Suburban Transformations (Princeton Architectural Press, October 2007), which proposes strategies and processes for transforming suburbs into more sustainable environments with unique identities strongly linked to their particular landscapes.
Mr. Lukez has received numerous academic and professional honors, and his work has been recognized by editors of many local, regional, national and international publications. In recognition of his achievements in design excellence, he was elected as a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects.
Prior to founding Paul Lukez Architecture in 1992, Mr. Lukez worked with nationally and internationally recognized architectural firms such as Skidmore, Owings & Merrill of Chicago, William Rawn Associates of Boston, and Arrowstreet Inc. of Cambridge and Boston. In addition, Mr. Lukez has taught architecture courses at all levels, up to the highest-level graduate studio and research seminars, as well as courses on reprogramming and urban design, two of his areas of specialty.
