Last Friday PLA had the opportunity to spread a little Christmas cheer by helping decorate the Heading Home Offices in South Boston. Heading Home is a non-profit organization that provides emergency, transitional and permanent housing. In addition, they provide support services to (formally) homeless and low-income individuals and families in and around the Boston Area.
Chris Zarek has been active working with this terrific organization over the last years, helping to re-furbish several transitional apartments. One of our Interior Designers, Catherine Harnist, led our design team’s effort in preparing the space for holiday festivities. Children and parents wrap and share gifts donated by generous donors in the multi-purpose spaces. In anticipation of their Holiday Gift Drive, PLA decked the halls with lights, ornaments, streamers and wrapping paper, creating a festive environment for the holiday season.
